HTC did release a couple of new mid-range Desire smartphones earlier this month, but it isn’t done yet as another member dubbed Desire 626 will reportedly join the lineup soon. The handset has been leaked online and a good deal of information on it has been revealed.
The HTC Desire 626 will follow the same design language as the other members in the Desire family. The phone will have a unibody form factor made from polycarbonate and come in a variety of shades which certain components like the sides and camera rim flaunting a different hue.
Leakster @upleaks has also managed to get his hands on images of the HTC phone which are visible above and below. Where features are concerned, the Twitter user has revealed that the handset will be powered by Android 4.4 KitKat and an update to Lollipop will be released latest on.
Additionally, the Desire 626 will most likely go official in two different versions, probably with altered hardware for specific market needs. There’s mention of one model carrying an octa core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.7GHz (could be 64-bit), and a second variant fitted with a 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 SOC.
