Panasonic unveils three new 4G phones for India with Android 5.1 onboard

Panasonic is intensifying its push into the Indian market with three new 4G LTE handsets that have come in the form of the Eluga L2, the Eluga I2 and the Eluga T45. These affordable dual SIM devices are being highlighted by the fact that they run the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The new Panasonic Eluga L2 comes with a 5.5-inch 540 x 960 pixel display, and runs the combination of a 1.2GHz quad core processor and 1GB worth of RAM. Apart from a 2500mAh battery pack, its other main highlights include an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front snapper.

8GB of expandable storage also makes its way onto the Eluga L2. Its sand gray color option bears a matte rear panel, while its midnight black version goes for a faux leather finish. This phone will be sold in India at Rs 9990.

Next is the Panasonic Eluga I2 which has chosen to adopt a 5-inch 720p screen. Its operations are taken care of by a 1GHz quad core processor which is complemented by 1GB worth of RAM. While an 8MP shooter sits on its rear panel, a 2MP selfie unit can be found on its front face. Available in metallic silver, metallic gold and metallic grey color options, it costs Rs 8290.

Panasonic Eluga I2

The cheapest among the lot is the Eluga T45 which goes for a 4.5-inch 480 x 854 pixel panel. There’s a 1GHz quad core processor ticking inside it, taking assistance from 1GB of RAM. A 5MP rear and a VGA front camera find place on its body. It will be made available for purchase at Rs 6980.
