The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE has been spotted on the company’s Indian website, sporting a price tag of Rs 8600. The VE in its name seems to stand of value edition, but there’s nothing extra that is being offered with it, strangely.
The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE is a 3G smartphone with dual SIM support. Just like its 4G version, this model too runs the Android 4.4 KitKat OS which is a big disadvantage. It carries onboard a 4.5-inch touchscreen display bearing a WVGA resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
This Samsung offering has been blessed with a 1.2GHz quad core processor that works along with 1GB worth of RAM. There’s 8GB of storage space present inside it, apart from a microSD card slot that supports an additional 128GB.
A dual camera setup has indeed been granted to the Galaxy Core Prime VE. Its rear surface has been adorned by a 5MP autofocus main camera that’s accompanied by an LED flash.
A neat look at the main specs of the new Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE:
– Display: 4.5-inch, 480 x 800 pixels
– OS: Android 4.4 KitKat
– Processor: 1.2GHz quad core
– Memory: 1GB RAM, 8GB storage (expandable up to 128GB)
– Cameras: 5MP rear with flash, 2MP front
– Battery: 2000mAh
On the other hand, its front houses a 2MP fixed focus snapper which does not grab a flash. Powering the entire assembly is a 2000mAh battery supported by the Ultra Power Saving mode that’s capable of offering 1.2 days’ worth of standby time with just 10 percent battery remaining.
Although the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE has been listed by company on its eStore, it’s still not available for purchase. We’re guessing that it will start being sold in the coming days; so keep your eyes peeled if you’re interested in buying it.
