OnePlus 2 goes invite-free in India as well

It’s time for the OnePlus 2 to finally be made available in India sans the pesky invite system. From now on, anyone who wishes to buy the smartphone can do so by just entering Amazon, and placing an order for it. The need for these invites was scraped off worldwide only last week, and it was only a matter of time that the same happened in India.

The OnePlus 2 will still be sold in India at Rs 24999 of course. This price applies to the 64GB variant which ships with 4GB worth of RAM. A model bearing 16GB of storage and 3GB of RAM also exists, but it’s still to be made available in the country. Whenever it does arrive, it will be seen selling at Rs 22999.

Just recently, a luxury leather case from Hard Graft was launched for the device in India. Built with a couple of slim pockets for housing money and cards, this case even features an opening at the bottom for plugging in a pair of headphones.
