Micromax Canvas 5 is company’s new flagship, offers metal body and 4G support

The Micromax Canvas 5 has just been unveiled as the Indian company’s newest flagships handset which isn’t too heavy on the wallet. This advanced device supports dual SIM 4G connectivity, and comes with a metal frame that holds its body together. Rs 11999 is how much you’ll need to pay in order to get this smartphone for yourself.

The Micromax Canvas 5 has chosen to go for a 5.2-inch display which is able to showcase its visuals in 1080p full HD resolution. The device may be running Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, but it does come with the promise of a Marshmallow update in the future.

Micromax has blessed its newest offering with a 1.3GHz octa core MediaTek MT6753 processor. This setup is granted assistance in its operations by 3GB worth of RAM and a Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. 16GB worth of storage space is onboard as well, apart from a microSD card slot supporting another 64GB.
