OnePlus One is indeed destined for India, confirms company [Updated]

OnePlus, the company behind the premium CyanogenMod-equipped One smartphone, has said that it recognizes the high demand for the device in India and has assured fans that it will be released in the country at some point of time. The fact that no particular time frame has been provided goes on to convey that we cannot expect to see the handset land in the region anytime soon.

Nonetheless, this is big news for those who are interested in the phone but do not want to pay the huge international shipping costs by importing it. Through a forum post, a company representative has implied that OnePlus will be coming to India as the company has seen ‘tremendous interest’ for the One in the country despite the fact that it hasn’t been launched here.
