Samsung Galaxy S5 unleashed worldwide, available in India at Rs 51,500

April 11 is finally here and the Samsung Galaxy S5 too. It now remains to be seen how the device fares worldwide in terms of sales as compared to previous Samsung flagships as well as other biggies out in the market right now. For those who wish to buy it, the device is selling at Rs 51,500 through a number of online retailers in India.

16GB models of the next-gen smartphone are now being sold by retail portals with their usual sets of offers. Although the Samsung Galaxy S5 was supposed to arrive in black, blue, white and gold options, the latter one is seemingly absent from the inventories of these sites.

Rs 51,500 is the standard price of the device, but Flipkart is selling it at a higher asking amount of Rs 53,499 for some reason. As had been speculated before, the South Korean giant is offering 20 percent cashback to Citibank card holders through the Samsung India eStore.

Unveiled in February, the Samsung Galaxy S5 grabs a host of unique additions including a fingerprint sensor, a heart rate sensor and an advanced 16MP camera. This powerful handset moreover features resistance to water and dust as well, thus increasing its durability.

Like we said, the Samsung Galaxy S5 has been made available all over the world. You can buy it in India through Flipkart, Infibeam, Saholic, Snapdeal, Samsung eStore and other sites.
