Samsung had little to hide if you thought it pulled the black faux leather backed Galaxy S4 and its mini version from the official Russian website after a leak. At least, it wasn’t trying to cover up the LTE-A enabled version of the Galaxy S4.
The company has just released the smartphone with a leather textured rear casing in three color options and not the standard black variant we’ve referred to in our first line. So it can be picked in white with rose gold trimmings, black with silver accents or black with rose gold highlights.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 chipset which is found in the original device has been ditched for a Snapdragon 800 processor. It also delivers LTE-Advanced connectivity. GSMArena notes that this LTE-A model (S4 Advance) took a lot of time to reach Europe.
It could mean that the fancy faux leather one will reach global markets much later. For now, Samsung is only aiming at Korea and will release it before February is over. Three major network operators in the country will be carrying it.
Samsung is clearly in love with the textured and classy looking rear that the Galaxy Note 3 flaunts. Well, it seems to be classier than the plastic casing you normally have to deal with even when buying a phone from the company’s premium lineup.
This is what the specs look like in the regular version of the smartphone:
