Budget handset maker Celkon has introduced a trio of new smartphones for India, the Monalisa ML-5, the Signature Swift A112 and the Campus A10. These devices range from the entry-level to the mid-tier segment with low retail price tags and each of them run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The Signature Swift A112 is the largest member in the new lineup and it falls in the same category as the previously launched Signature One. The device packs a 5-inch touchscreen with FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution. Powering it up is a dual core 1.2GHz processor which is backed by 512MB of RAM for smooth operations. There are dual cameras onboard as well, a 1.3MP front snapper and an 8MP rear shooter, 4GB of internal storage and a 2000mAh battery. The Monalisa ML-5 is a fresh branding in the company’s portfolio. The device has a 4.5-inch qHD touchscreen and a quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
The ML-5 also has an 8MP primary camera, but a 2MP webcam on the front. The smartphone is bundled with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of hoarding capacity, an 1800mAh battery and split-screen multitasking. Last on the list is the entry-level addition, the Campus A10, which falls in the 3.5-inch segment. The device proffers visuals in HVGA 320 x 480p resolution. It also sports a 1.3MP camera, a webcam and a 1500mAh battery. All 3 smartphones share similar features. They include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G WCDMA, EDGE, Bluetooth and up to 32GB microSD card support.
The Monalisa ML-5 is priced at Rs 10,999, while the Signature Swift A112 and the Campus A10 can be picked up for Rs 8,799 and Rs 4.299, respectively.
