The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini that had gone official back in May has finally arrived on the shores of India for Rs 27,900. Apart from this, the South Korean company has also introduced the Zoom camera phone in this particular Samsung Galaxy series in the country.
The Galaxy S4 mini is the toned down version of the OEM’s latest flagship and tags along a considerably smaller screen. It offers a multi-touch real estate of 4.27 inches diagonally and the Super AMOLED display claims to render visuals in qHD resolution. Needless to say, the device comes armed with a set of two cameras.
A 1.9MP HD snapper rests on the front panel, while an 8MP primary shooter sits on the rear along with an LED flash. Apart from the common things like video recording capability, auto focus, digital zoom and more, the device also brings panorama mode and Sound & Shot amongst others.
Based on the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 platform, the smartphone takes the help of a dual core processor for ensuring support to a couple of applications at the same time. Loaded with 1.5GB of RAM, the device brings 8GB of onboard memory along with an expansion slot to increase it further by up to 64GB using a microSD card.
All of the aforementioned attributes are crammed into a compact form factor with dimensions of 124.6 x 61.3 x 8.94 millimeters and which tips the scales at 107 grams. Features like Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, IR LED and more can be found on its specifications list as well. And what’s more, the company has also pre-installed proprietary applications like ChatOn Messenger, S Travel, S Translator, S Health, Adapt Display, Adapt Sound and many others.
As we already mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will be available in the subcontinent for just under Rs 28,000.
