Gresso Cruiser Titanium price revealed, Symbian phone launched

Gresso Cruiser Titanium

A price for the Gresso Cruiser Titanium has been announced, and the device running a seemingly outdated Symbian platform has been launched. The luxury phone can be purchased from the official site and has been crafted by hand using aero-grade materials and a considerable amount of care.

The Cruiser Titanium is available in three models – a standard, a black and a solid variant – each strangely coming at a progressively decreasing cost, although they seem to require an increasing amount of processing. Let’s talk about the features that all the models of the device have in common.

Side

Well, as might be expected from a Symbian S40 phone, not much can be offered in terms of specs. The device will come with a tiny 2-inch TFT screen capable of a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, and in a long, rectangular form factor. The display is born out of solid tempered glass plates making it strong, while a special tinting method has been used to give a dark hue.

Classic styling has been employed with the gadget, and to that effect, the buttons are 21 tiny dots of steel polished by hand to give them a matte gloss effect. The materials used in the crafting process, the company says, make it resistant to corrosion and the metal can withstand heavy loads as well as dents and twists.

Front And Back

For all its technical shortcomings, it will have Bluetooth 2.0 and GPRS/EDGE connectivity. There will be a 2MP camera for capturing images and video, and while there’s 30MB of internal space, it can be expanded up to 2GB via a microSD card. An 860mAh Li-ion battery rounds up the component list, giving about 5.4 hours of talk time or approximately 300 hours on standby.

There will be a limited number of Gresso Cruiser Titanium units. Each model is restricted to just 555 in quantity, and every phone comes engraved with a unique number. The standard variant costs $2100, while the black and solid models sell for $2000 and $1800 respectively.
