The LG Splendor U.S. Cellular price and availability have just been revealed and the phone has already gone up for sale through the carrier. This handset can now be purchased online and it is slated to hit store shelves tomorrow.
Equipped with a 1GHz processor, the smartphone has been deployed with the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform. The front panel is dominated by a 4.3-inch IPS display that is capable of withstanding scrapes and scratches, thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass. Although it ships with 2GB internal memory and a 4GB memory card, its expansion slot can extend support to a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity.
The device is pretty sleek as it measures not more than 0.34 inches and tips the scales at merely 4.23oz. Its back panel has been fitted with a 5MP camera possessing features like auto focus, built-in flash and the ability to record HD 720p videos. Additionally, the smartphone comes with ‘Cheese Shutter’ that clicks pictures as soon as users say ‘cheese.’ A front-mounted webcam has also been added to the mix, in order to facilitate video conferencing over the web.
Moreover, the Wi-Fi-certified handset comes with pre-loaded Google Chrome browser for internet access on the move. Like all other recent LG devices, it is installed with the QuickMemo app and allows wireless transfer of digital content via Bluetooth or SmartShare media sharing. A 1,700mAh battery hides under the hood and provides talk time of close to 9 hours.
The LG Splendor U.S. Cellular price and availability details suggest it is now up for grabs through the official website for $79.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. It requires a two-year contract and a qualifying data plan.
