The LG Intuition Verizon US price and release date have been disclosed and it seems all set to take on the recently unveiled Galaxy Note 2. It claims to be as productive as a tablet and packs in the functionality of a smartphone in its sleek chassis. The phone is packaged along with the Rubberdium pen.

A 5-inch True HD multi-touch 650 nit display dominates the front panel and projects detailed visuals even in bright sunlight. The hybrid device sports a 1.3MP front-mounted webcam for video calling purposes, along with an 8MP rear camera that possesses features like LED flash and 1080p video recording capability. Moreover, the primary snapper recognizes voice commands and captures panorama shots as well.

The Intuition treats users to the Ice Cream Sandwich platform, but unlike the 5-inch Optimus Vu, acquires multitasking properties from a dual core processor which ticks at 1.5GHz. It can act as a mobile hotspot to share its 4G LTE network speed with as many as 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices. Additionally, the smartphone can share digital content with other gadgets through Bluetooth or with the help of SmartShare.

Besides some Amazon apps like Zappos, Kindle, Shopping, IMDB, MP3 and more, it is loaded with Polaris Office, QuickMemo, LG Tap+ and the Notebook application featuring a virtual notepad for creating documents that can be embedded with videos, images and audio clips. The slab also boasts of enterprise grade security, remote wipe function, corporate data encryption and multi-headed VPN amongst others.

The LG Intuition Verizon US price and release date details suggest it will be up for purchase through the official website for $199.99 starting September 6. It is slated to hit Verizon Communication stores on September 10. The phone requires a new two-year customer agreement and a qualifying data plan.
