Cricket Communications adds yet another Samsung phone to its wide portfolio. Yes, the two companies have teamed up to launch the all new Samsung Stunt phone SCH-R100. In a sleek bar fabrication, the phone reveals features like Mobile Web and a large display. Besides, its price too shouldn’t dig a hole in the users’ wallets.
Adorning a sleek and stylish bar form factor, this new Samsung offering via Cricket is packed to the core with an array of interesting functions. Highlight among which are attributes like Mobile Web, Games and Apps and Bluetooth. Boasting of a long battery life the phone also includes a speakerphone and supports voice commands.
“The Samsung Stunt provides a slender, smart design and introduces Bluetooth to our most affordable tier of devices,” commented Matt Stoiber, vice president and general manager of devices for Cricket. “And with its friendly user interface, it offers a sophisticated experience while remaining easy to use.”
Users should also be able to take advantage of Cricket’s MyBackup service. Minus the hassles of data cables, it enables subscribers to automatically safeguard their mobile contacts. Through a link in the contact list, users’ contacts are now protected. The Stunt is claimed to be a sophisticated evolution from its predecessor namely the SCH-R211. It shows off a larger and more vibrant color display at 128 x 160 along with a slimmer tailoring. The phone has dimensions of around 4.22” x 1.73” x .54” and tips the scale at just 2.61 oz.
