Airtel will also tie-up with pubs and colleges in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, and Delhi to air live telecasts of the matches.
K Srinivas, Director, East Hub (Mobility), Bharati Airtel Limited said, “The mobile communication has actually changed from being just plain voice service, where the customer interacts with various areas around him, whether it is information, whether it is entertainment or whether its sports. So, if you are traveling around and you want to know the scores and you don’t want to miss the moment when a goal was scored, you can download that particular clip and re-watch it. In many ways, it is not just watching television, it is about interaction, it is actually living the sport that you were actually waiting.”
