Sony Ericsson Z525 Push-to-Talk Clamshell Phone Unveiled

sony z525 Sony Ericsson announced the Z525 mobile phone, a push-to-talk upgrade to the Sony Ericsson Z520. The stylish Z525 clamshell phone works worldwide and sports Bluetooth, a VGA camera, along with an array of messaging capabilities. Sony Ericsson Z525 mobile phone will be sold in the U.S. beginning in the second quarter of 2006.

Sony Ericsson Z525 is filled with useful and fun features. Its Bluetooth capability allows you to easily connect to a variety of headsets, car kits and other Bluetooth enabled devices. As with other Sony Ericsson phones, special lighting effects on the Z525 let you know who is calling. There are blue lights around the rim light up in eight different patterns that sync with melodies to match individual callers.

Sony Ericsson Z525’s VGA camera allows you save color pictures of your most frequent callers along with their contact details. These pictures are then displayed on the external screen when that person calls.

The Sony Z525 phone let’s you share your favorite photos with easy picture and video messaging capabilities via MMS. It also features a simple-to-use Internet browser which makes it easier to find nearby restaurants, movies, flights and more.

The Sony Ericsson Z525a phone is quad-band GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. It will be available in New Blue and starts shipping during the second quarter of 2006.
