The Nokia Lumia 730 isn’t going to be an ordinary mid-range smartphone from Microsoft as a new leak has suggested that the device might come with enhanced connectivity features such as 4G LTE and NFC support. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also talk about the smartphone offering Qi wireless charging capabilities.
NPU has received an image which reveals the aforementioned information and there’s an FCC filing that confirms the data. What’s more, the Nokia Lumia 730 is said to arrive with nano SIM support and it’ll house a microSD card slot as well. However, there’s no confirmation whether a nano SIM will be applicable to all versions of the phone including the dual SIM model.
The above picture also reveals the Nokia Lumia 730 smartphone’s dimensions which apparently stand at 134.7mm x 68.5mm. The thickness and weight are yet to be disclosed. Apart from these details, we already know a lot about the Nokia Lumia 730 smartphone. Microsoft plans to launch it as a selfie-focused handset where the front camera will be of 5MP.
The device is, as you’ve probably realized, the successor to the Lumia 720 and it’ll feature upgraded specs. The display size has been increased to 4.7 inches and the resolution has also been bumped up to 720p HD. And like all phones in the new lineup, this one will also be powered by a quad core processor.
Below are the leaked Nokia Lumia 730 specs:
– Quad core Snapdragon 400 SOC
– 1GB RAM, 8GB storage
– Dual SIM support
– HSPA+, 4G LTE, NFC, Qi wireless charging, nano SIM
– 5MP front camera, 6.7MP rear snapper
– Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1 OS
The Nokia Lumia 730 is expected to go official on September 3 along with the Lumia 830 smartphone. The phone is said to be priced at around €256.
