Microsoft’s Lumia 950 and 950 XL get price cuts in Europe again

These are hard times for Microsoft’s smartphone business, even as it’s being forced to drop prices of its new Lumia 950 models in order to better compete with other handsets. Not too long ago, the firm had recently also dropped the retail values of its new devices in the UK. All this, while they are still to begin shipping.

Amazon France is where the new price drop has come from. The site is now taking pre-orders for the Lumia 950 at €563, and is offering the Lumia 950 XL variant for €649. The same retailer was earlier selling the handsets at €599 and €699, respectively.

GSM Arena has pointed out that the new Microsoft smartphones will begin shipping in the UK on December 3. There’s no lead on when they will start landing in other nations though.
