Microsoft’s Lumia 535 handset reaches US unlocked for just $169.99

The Microsoft Lumia 535 smartphone has officially been launched in China, India and a couple of other markets so far, but it’s yet to make its debut stateside. Well, you won’t have to wait on the Redmond giant as the super cheap WP8.1 handset is now available for $169.99 (plus delivery fees) through Expansys.

The ecommerce website is offering the handset unlocked and notes that it’ll ship in about 4 days from purchase. Of course, the phone yet to be officially launched in the US and there’s a high chance that you won’t be able to claim warranty. But if none of these matter to you, the Microsoft Lumia 535 comes at a great price.

The phone is the first release from the company without Nokia’s branding onboard and it also features the Denim update tagging along all of the latest features. The phone doesn’t have 4G LTE, but you get HSPA+ support and dual SIM card slots. If that’s not enough, there are dual 5MP cameras onboard as well, the front one having a wide-angle lens for taking selfies.

Like its siblings, the Lumia 535 also has a 1.2GHz quad core processor doing the heavy lifting and it offers an entire gigabyte of RAM. Storage needs are taken care of by 8GB internal memory and a microSD slot supporting cards of up to 128GB.
