The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL handsets from Microsoft have officially been launched in India, with their release date having been scheduled for December 11. The all-important prices of these devices have also been outed, with the smaller one having been tagged at Rs 43699, and the larger at Rs 49399.
Those interested in purchasing the Lumia 950 or the Lumia 950 XL can pre-book them from today onwards via online as well as physical retailers. Along with the phones, Microsoft has also launched the Display Dock accessory which is priced at Rs 5999, and allows the Lumias to be turned into full-blown computers.
Thanks to the fact that they run Windows 10 Mobile, they can take advance of the software’s Continuum feature which works along with the Display Dock. Using this assembly, you can connect your phone to a large display and use it as a Windows 10 computer.
The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL handsets have both been launched in the form of dual SIM 4G models in India. While the former offers a 5.2-inch Quad HD monitor and a Snapdragon 808 CPU, the latter goes for a 5.7-inch Quad HD display and a Snapdragon 810 processor.
