Micromax Canvas Tab P470 dual SIM 3G tablet launched in India, priced at Rs 6999

A Micromax Canvas Tab P470 has just been spotted in India, and it boasts of everything you can expect an affordable 7-inch tablet to offer. Priced at just Rs 6999, this device moreover features support for 21 Indian language and dual SIM slots.

Apart from Hindi, languages like Marathi, Gujarati, Sindhi, Telugu, Tamil and more have been infused into the Micromax Canvas Tab P470 by its maker. The 3G compatible tablet has been blessed with the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, yet there’s no word on whether it’s eligible for a Lollipop update or not.

Micromax has blessed this device with a 7-inch TFT display featuring a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The chipset inside it is a MediaTek MT8312 unit which houses a dual core processor with its clock speed set at 1.3GHz. A 3200mAh battery powers this slate from within.
