Micromax has confirmed via its Facebook account that it will be sliding the covers off of the Canvas Knight octa core smartphone tomorrow in India. It was outed quite a while ago through a teaser video and its details and pictures surfaced on the web as well, leaving hardly anything to the imagination. The company has been posting teaser images pretty regularly on its Facebook page.
Micromax may not have revealed anything about the Canvas Knight’s features, but it has been giving us a lot of hints regarding the same. One of the pictures says that it is beyond HD which could mean that just like the Canvas Turbo, it will bring a full HD touchscreen to the table.
The Indian manufacturer is also stressing on the fact that it brings the power of eight and we bet it refers to the number of cores of its processor. Probably, the upcoming smartphone is fueled by the MediaTek MT6592 octa core chipset. The Twitter handle @MMXNewscaster, famous for revealing details about devices from this company tweeted that the phone will come drenched in the shade of gold too.
And what’s more, its eight core SoC will sprint at a speed of 2GHz and will have 2GB of RAM for company. Its total internal memory may amount to 32GB and you will find a 5MP webcam as well as a 16MP rear-facing snapper on the device. A 5-inch display is likely to be placed on the front side of the chassis that measures 7.3mm in thickness.
We will let you know about the price and availability details of the Micromax Canvas Knight as soon as the company announces them.
