Well, Apple’s a ridiculous name for a tech company. So we won’t talk about Micromax’s reasoning which led it to call its yet unannounced smartphone the Canvas Juice A77. The handset in question has popped up through an online retailer without official notice. The features packed into it seem pretty reasonable for the Rs 8,000 price attached to it.
Gone are the days of those regular-sized phones. The Micromax Canvas Juice is a phablet with a 5-inch display spitting out graphics in 480 x 854p resolution. A 1.3GHz dual core chip hides under the hood and this is most likely to be a MediaTek one. The handset is powered by 1GB of RAM and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
The onboard memory reads at 4GB and there’s a microSD card slot which can offer an additional 32GB of extra hoarding space. A 5MP camera with flash is positioned on the rear panel, while there’s a VGA one above the screen. The large battery juicing up the Juice provides up to 10 hours of talk time (network not mentioned). Lastly, the device joins the dual SIM trend and delivers 3G connectivity.
– Android 4.2.2 OS

HomeShop18 has put up a product page for the Canvas Juice A77. You won’t be able to buy the smartphone yet since it appears to be out of stock; meaning the retailer is probably waiting on Micromax to unveil it first. But it’s coming soon, according to FoneArena.
