There’s yet another new smartphone in the Micromax Canvas range, which goes by the name of Elanza 2. As its name suggests, it’s a successor to the Elanza which was launched earlier this year. This new device however, benefits from a range of fresh additions including a quad core processor and a leather back panel.
The 5-inch display on the Elanza 2 grabs an HD resolution of 720p, whereas its software has also been upgraded to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It runs on a 1.2GHz quad core Qualcomm MSM8212 processor which is assisted in its operations by 1GB worth of RAM. 4GB of internal storage can be exploited, and it can be expanded further up to 32GB.
There’s an 8MP camera onboard this smartphone, aside from a 2MP webcam. The Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 kicks in dual SIM support, and is powered by a 2000mAh battery which is able to provide it with talktime of up to 7.5 hours and standby time of up to 240 hours.
This device has not yet been made available for download, but it can be spotted on the company’s website nonetheless. We’ll have more when the pricing details of the Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 are out.
