Micromax’s Canvas 2 smartphone has been quite popular and the company has given the phone a new lease of life through the Canvas 2 Colors A120 variant. As the name suggests, the new device comes in variety of color options and it also features upgrade specifications.
Having a device available in multiple colors has proven to be quite popular and Nokia as well as other OEMs have been implementing this strategy from a long time. Around a couple of weeks back, Lava adopted the same strategy by launching the Iris 450 Colour for an affordable price of Rs 7,999. The Canvas 2 Colors A120 could be Micromax’s response to the device. The handset will make its debut in choices of chic black, radiant red, vibrant yellow, classic white, splendid green and mystic blue shades.
Where specifications and features are concerned, the device has been upgraded to match the hardware found on the Canvas HD. The Micromax Canvas 2 Colors A120 will continue to carry a 5-inch display, but the resolution has been increased from FWVGA to 720p HD. The processing power has also been doubled with a 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582 chipset doing the heavy lifting in place of a 1GHz dual core SOC. Various other features have remained untouched. You still get 1GB of RAM, a 2000mAh battery and an 8MP rear camera.
The Micromax Canvas 2 Colors A120 has popped up on the company’s website and is yet to go official.
