There is now more proof that the Meizu M5S is on its way to being unveiled by the Chinese company. This new leak is thanks to a Geekbench listing that was spotted online.

The Meizu M5S has received a Geekbench single-core score of 572, while its multi-core test has managed to reach 2481. This is all thanks to a 1.3GHz octa core MediaTek MT6753 processor and 2GB worth of RAM.

As pointed out by GSM Arena, a past leak has also indicated that the M5S will be released in the form of 3GB and 4GB RAM options coming with 32GB and 64GB storage modules, respectively. This can help us conclude that the 2GB RAM model will ship with 16GB worth of storage.

Meizu has apparently also blessed this device with a 13MP main camera. As for the front snapper, it will be able to click 5MP selfies. The battery onboard this device is expected to be of 2930mAh capacity.

Unfortunately, the Geekbench listing has revealed that the M5S will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow as its base software. There will of course be a layer of the company’s very own Flyme OS on top of it.

Right now, there’s no word on when the Meizu M5S will be unveiled by its makers. But we’ll keep an eye out for more details, and inform you when something concrete is revealed. Stay tuned to this space until then.
