Mauj Mobile introduces Shlokas from the Bhagwad Gita for Your Mobile Phones

Shlokas from the Bhagwad Gita Now on Your Mobile Phones This is the festive season in India. As the country bid adieu to Lord Ganesha, the Remover of Obstacles on Ganpati; now people gradually get geared to welcome the festival of lights Deepavali.

At the very apt amidst all these festivities, Mauj Mobile, one of India’s premier mobile VAS solutions providers, has introduced “Shlokas from the Bhagwad Gita” for all its mobile users in India. At present only Airtel subscribers can avail of this service, however Mauj Mobile does intend extending this offering to other service users shortly.

So now all the devout people can get a number of religious chants (Shlokas) from their holy Sanskrit text – the Bhagwad Gita.

108 shlokas that form the basis of the ‘Geeta Saar’ are now available to all Mauj Mobile customers. Users can set their favorite shloka as their Background Music, Ringtone, Caller Tune or Alarm Alert. Alternatively, these shlokas can also be sent as a Voice or a normal SMS to friends and family members. In addition, users who would like to get a shloka as an outbound call every morning, Mauj Mobile offers an Interactive Voice Response feature at a subscription of Rs 30/- per month.

The Shlokas from the Bhagwad Gita would be released in 3 phases, each phase focusing at a different lingual market.

In the first phase, there will Shlokas recited in Sanskrit followed by their meaning in Hindi, thereby making people understand their real importance.

The second phase of the launch will have the original Sanskrit Shlokas and their meanings will be explained in English.

India being a diverse country in terms of languages spoken, Mauj Mobile has plans to reach the regional masses in the third phase of the launch. In this phase the Shlokas will be made available in various regional languages, including Marathi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, Gujarati, Oriya, Bhojpuri and Punjabi.
