The Matias One, Slim One and Tactile One keyboards may just take multi-tasking to a whole new level by facilitating connections to the desktop as well as the iPhone. If users are working on the Mac or PC and their iPhone beeps, they can press a button on the keypad to connect the peripheral to the Apple device and use it as a physical keyboard for the ‘iDevice’. Needless to say, the keypad can instantly be switched back to connect with the PC or Mac.
First up in the recently launched range is the Matias One keyboard that comes integrated with a USB 2.0 port. Additionally, it brings along an in-keyboard stand which not only holds the iPhone, but also allows for easy controlling of the device. Next up is the Slim One keyboard and as the name suggests, the offering indeed sports a sleek appearance and aims to save up space on the work desk. This keypad bundles in the company’s MiniRizer stand to securely place the handset.
“With the press of a button, the keyboard connects to your iPhone. You can type a quick text or Twitter message, and then press again to instantly switch back to your Mac or PC. You just need to experience this once, to feel how much faster it is,” comments Edgar Matias, CEO of Matias.
The range includes the Tactile One keyboard which brings the Alps mechanical keyswitches’ feel for easy utility. Besides being inspired by the Matias Tactile Pro keyboard for Mac, this model comes with an in-keypad stand as well as a 3-port USB 2.0 hub for connectivity. PC and Mac specific variants of the Matias One, Slim One and Tactile One keyboards can be opted for.
The Matias One, Slim One and Tactile One keyboards are tagged at $99.95, $79.95 and $199.95, respectively. The former two are now selling on the company’s official portal, while the Tactile One peripheral has hit the pre-order status.
