Logitech PowerShell Controller is a gamepad as well as a battery pack for your iPhone

$99.99 is what Logitech is asking for an iOS 7-optimized PowerShell gaming controller for the iPhone, which even provides you with added battery backup. This device has been equipped with advanced features, and is available for pre-order now, however, it will only be released in December this year.

Claiming to roughly double up your playing time with your iDevices, this accessory is meant only for the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5 and the iPod touch (5th generation). Its long form factor of 0.8 inches x 7.9 inches x 2.5 inches occupies a number of necessary buttons, and with a 1500mAh battery onboard, it tips the scales at 4.2 ounces.

Logitech PowerShell Controller

The Logitech PowerShell Controller allows you to easily insert your devices into its chassis. Its controls feature the familiar support of a D-pad, shoulder triggers and face buttons which should get almost all available games on the App Store gong with them.

The Logitech PowerShell Controller even comes equipped with a 3.5mm headphone adapter, granting the cable on your headphones an angled design in order to bring it into a comfortable position. The chassis of the device even ensures that the volume up/down buttons, ring/silent switch and power/sleep button are all accessible while gaming.

The company is set to face direct competition from the Moga Ace Power gamepad which too is slated to arrive soon, and with the same price tag. One major difference among the two is that the Ace Power offers support for the iPhone 5C as well.

Like we said, the Logitech PowerShell Controller will be made available in December, but it can be pre-ordered now through Best Buy.
