Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Bad Company foray into Rock Band 3 Music Store

The companies are back and this time has quite a number of artists under its sleeve. The enticing array includes Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special and Bad Company which proffer Pro Guitar and Pro Bass. Tracks belted out by these talents can be procured from the Rock Band 3 Music Store and enjoyed on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

Lynyrd Skynyrd’s track ‘Free Bird’ has already been included on the Rock Band 3 game disc with four more songs arriving in the music store. The latest inclusions namely ‘Sweet Home Alabama (Live)’, ‘Saturday Night Special’ and ‘What’s Your Name?’ all feature Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades. The fourth track in the Skynyrd line-up is noted to be ‘Tuesday’s Gone’ which comes minus the upgrades.

Besides these four tracks, American rockers 38 Special enter the music arena with their number ‘Hold on Loosely’. English rockers Bad Company further grace the scene with ‘Can’t Get Enough’. Both these songs include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades. The songs featured in the as downloadable content support five-button guitar and bass parts as well as Pro Drums, drums, Pro Keys, keys and harmonies.

Each song is priced at $1.99 USD, £.99, €1.49, 200 Wii Points and 160 Microsoft Points while the Lynyrd Skynyrd Pack 01 can be purchased for $6.99, £3.49, €5.29, 560 Microsoft Points or 700 Wii Points. The tracks are scheduled to release today in Europe on the PS3 gaming console.
