The Acer Liquid Z5 which has just been announced by the Taiwanese multinational company is a mid-range device which is looking to be an affordable smartphone proposition. It’s no Moto G by any means, but it’s still blessed with features you’d want to have a look at.
At €169 – approximately translating to $230 or Rs 14,300 – you’ll be getting the benefits of a 5-inch display and a dual core processor. While the resolution of this monitor is still unknown, the processor has been revealed to be 1.3GHz one. The now-ancient Android 4.2.2 OS has been granted to the Acer Liquid Z5, with the company having layered it with some of its usual utility apps.
Sized at 145.5mm x 73.5mm x 8.8 mm and weighing in at 147 grams, this smartphone grabs 4GB worth of internal storage, apart from essentials like Wi-Fi, and integrated GPS. Its front speaker has been boosted with DTS Sound technology, allowing crisper sound to come out of them.
An advanced 5MP camera makes its way onto the device as well. It features a 5 elements f2.4 lens which is meant to make images sharper. This BSI snapper furthermore, allows more light to fall on the sensor than FSI cameras. An IR filter and an HDR mode have also been granted to it by Acer.
The Acer Liquid Z5 will be on display at the CES, and will be made available for purchase in mid-January in France, Benelux, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Ukraine and UK at the above mentioned price.
