Users of the Nokia Asha 501 and other touch phones from the series such as the Asha 305, 306, 308, 309, 310 and 311 will now be able to stay connected with people in their professional networks as the LinkedIn application has been made available for all of these handsets. It goes without saying that the mobile app will be loaded with all the essential features that are associated with the service and are found on utilities meant for smartphone platforms like Windows Phone, Android and iOS amongst others.
Especially designed for the feature-rich handsets, the LinkedIn application brings four main attributes to the table. It lets subscribers view the updated stream and allows them to access information, like and comment on posts and even share them with people in their professional circles. The utility has an inbox which means members can easily communicate with each other and send or accept connection requests from colleagues. Its third feature is the search option that lets them look for friends, while suggestions appear in the People You May Know section. And the last attribute is the ability to update their own profiles and keep a track of those who have been viewing them.
Those who haven’t joined LinkedIn yet can also download the application on their Nokia Asha devices and sign up through the dedicated tab. It is available for all of the aforementioned phones in multiple languages such as English, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese.
The LinkedIn application for the Nokia Asha touch-enabled phones can be downloaded from the Nokia Store, free of charge.
