LG’s G Pro 2 smartphone is already available for purchase in South Korea and it will soon go on sale in various countries across Asia. The conglomerate has announced that the phablet will initially hit select markets followed by many others in the near future. The first wave of counties in the roster includes Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippine, Vietnam, Indonesia and more.
The LG G Pro 2 was globally unveiled at the MWC 2014 expo last month. The phablet comes with a 5.9-inch form factor and it has a 77.2% screen-to-frame ratio as well as extremely slim side bezels of just 3.3mm. The display implemented here is IPS and it proffers FHD visuals in 1920 x 1080p resolution.
The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and it’s accompanied by various UX features from the company. Knock Code brings in enhanced lockscreen security where you can create a personalized knock pattern to unlock the handset. The LG G Pro 2 also comes with better camera features. The 13MP lens on the rear has OIS+ technology and it can record videos in 4K resolution, capture 120fps clips for slow motion playback and more.
