LG’s G Pro 2 smartphone has been leaked to a great extent and the company has also started giving out small pieces of information by teasing features of the device. So far, the handset’s name and camera capabilities have been confirmed, while the rest is based on speculation. The latest rumor is that the phablet will come with an incredibly thin bezel that’s just 0.4mm in size.
This width basically suggests that the bezel will be almost hidden, putting the main focus on the display. According to Korean website FN, the touch panel is likely to cover approximately 77.2% of the entire front. The outcome of this is that the LG G Pro will have an edge-to-edge display design and a compact form factor compared to other phablets of the same size.
Based on the above image, the handset will also have a minimalistic appearance since the volume keys are shifted to the rear like in the G2 flagship. The bezel should also be wide enough to provide an optimal grip. The LG G Pro 2 will come with a 13MP rear camera which will have enhanced OIS and support for capturing slow motion videos at 1.4x speed. The main highlight here is that the snapper will also tag along 4K UHD recording. The front lens will be a 2.1MP one and the camera UX will be overhauled.
Quick look at the specifications:
– Android 4.4 KitKat
– 6-inch 1080p screen
– Snapdragon 800/805 SOC
– 2GB of RAM
– 13MP rear camera with 4K recording
– 2.1MP front snapper
