LG’s G Pad 8.3 goes vanilla with new Google Play Edition model V510

LG has been the maker of the flagship Nexus smartphone for 2 years in a row and now, the company has added a third device to arrive with a pure Android experience, the G Pad 8.3, which has earned the Google Play Edition title. The tablet is the first of its kind in the series and it runs on KitKat 4.4 out of the box.

The G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition managed to break cover just yesterday as a leak pegged the LG V510 which was looming around unidentified to be the device in question. In previous reports, the slate was speculated to be the Nexus 8 which we briefly seen on the Android website.

The G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition is not much different from its original version where design and features are concerned. The main modification here is that the slate will drop the extra enhancements provided by LG and offer a vanilla Android experience like what you’d get on a Nexus tablet. Also, new versions of Android will arrive soon after they’re officially released to the Nexus line. This is something that LG fan are going to love.
