LG Zero is nothing but the LG Class for other markets

If you remember the LG Class, you won’t be surprised to see the LG Zero which is nothing but an international variant of the previously Korea-only device. The all-metal smartphone is set to be sold in Taiwan from this week onwards, after which it will be making its way into markets in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

This one’s a pretty modest offering which indeed has LTE support onboard. The software features of the LG Zero have been derived from the company’s G series smartphones, and include offerings like Gesture Shot, Gesture View and Gesture Interval Shot.

LG has infused into this handset a 5-inch 720p display which is of the IPS type and bears the In-Cell Touch technology. A 1.2GHz quad core processor (most probably the Snapdragon 410 model) has found space underneath its body, aside from 1.5GB worth of RAM. That’s a slight departure from the Korean model’s offerings, as it kicks in 2GB of RAM.

The Zero runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and is powered by a 2050mAh battery pack. It can boast of 16GB worth of internal storage and even a microSD card slot. Its rear camera clicks 13MP photos, while its front unit returns 8MP selfies.

The exact price and availability details of the LG Zero have been kept under the wraps for now, but they’ll be revealed in specific markets right before the device is released there.
