LG Watch Urbane in India has a ridiculously high price

The LG Watch Urbane has arrived on Amazon, and at Rs 29990, it has become the most expensive Android Wear device in the country. It is a luxury gadget, but paying that much for a smartwatch which is not much different from other similar products in terms of functionality is something Indian consumers wouldn’t be stoked about.

The LG Watch Urbane is being sold in the US at $349 which translates to around Rs 22200. It can be bought via Amazon now in both its gold and silver color options. There’s no word out yet regarding whether or not it will be sold via the Google Store in the future.

Unveiled during MWC this year, the Watch Urbane exudes a classic feel with its overall design that incorporates a stainless steel body and a leather strap. Just like the G Watch R, this device too offers a circular display of 1.3 inches in diameter. This P-OLED panel showcases its visuals in an effective resolution of 320 x 320 pixels.
