LG rolls out LG KP106B GSM handset in India

LG India has come up with a GSM mobile phone especially for the high talk time requirement, in India. To serve its target, the LG KP106B GSM handset is powered with a “best in class battery”, claims LG.

The KP106B has a great battery life and hence an exceptionally superior phone in its segment and we are very positive that it will delight our customers.”

The entry-level KP106B phone comes equipped with 4-way metallic navigation key, 16 polyphonic ringtones, one touch FM key, and keypad supporting both Hindi and English. It also features an anti-theft mobile tracker that can track the mobile phone after it is stolen, whenever another SIM card is inserted into it. The in-built Sudoku game provides a medium for entertainment other than the entertainment features like FM that can be put on speakerphones or on built-in handsfree as well.

The phone can store up to 300 contacts and 100 SMS messages. Other features of the LG KP106B include World clock, multiple alarm, calculator, and Stopwatch and unit converter.

Looks wise the LG KP106B is a sleek candy bar phone with 1.5 inch LCD screen and 65k display with 128×128 pixel resolution. The dimensions are 123X115X64 mm and the phone weighs only 63g.

The LG KP106B GSM handset has been made available in the market at the price of Rs. 2,000 only.
