LG QuickMemo coming to Viper 4G LTE and other LG phones

LG QuickMemo

LG QuickMemo, a new feature from the South Korea-based company that allows users to share content with their friends, is all set to be made available on the Viper 4G LTE in the US. It is slated to be released for the aforementioned smartphone through a software update on July 16, while it should hit other LG phones before the end of this year.

Basically, QuickMemo can be employed for the purpose of personalizing messages as well as commenting on pictures, digital magazines, web pages and similar content. This tool facilitates drawing and editing on handheld devices sans a stylus. It even allows capturing screenshots and adding handwritten messages to these pictures before they are uploaded to social networking websites or forwarded via email and text messages.

“Whether it’s exploring a favorite website or viewing a memorable photo, LG QuickMemo gives users the ability to present ideas in a more fun, personalized way. Using LG Quick Memo, people can climb out of the text box and embrace the individuality, tone and even emotion of human communication that can’t be expressed through plain text,” quoted James Fishler, senior vice president of marketing and go-to-market operations, LG Electronics USA.

LG Viper 4G LTE

The Viper 4G LTE acquires multitasking properties from a 1.2GHz dual core processor and 1GB RAM. Its front panel sports a VGA webcam and a 4-inch multi-touch display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass to withstand scratches, while the flip side is embedded with a 5MP camera. The phone is up for grabs through Sprint for $79.99 with a new two-year customer agreement and qualifying data plans.

As mentioned above, LG QuickMemo will be available for the Viper 4G LTE on July 16.
