The LG Optimus L3II, L5II and L7II have finally been unveiled by the South Korean conglomerate and the company states that they will be showcased at the MWC 2013. The third smartphone in the refreshed series is scheduled to make its debut in Russia bearing dual SIM support.
Additionally, the Optimus L3II and L5II will also arrive in variants housing 2 SIM slots. Currently, little is officially known about both handsets. The former will arrive with a 3.2-inch QVGA IPS display and a 1,540mAh battery, while the latter is touted to implement a WVGA panel which spans 4 inches diagonally, and a 1,700mAh capacity power pack.
Coming to the L7II, the manufacturer has designed it with a 4.3-inch WVGA IPS screen and a VGA camera on the front. The rear is fitted with an 8MP snapper as well as an LED flash and the innards comprise of a 1GHz dual core Qualcomm MSM8225 SOC that’s based on the ARM Cortex A5 processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and a 2,460mAh battery. The Optimus L Series II aims to improve on the look adopted by its predecessor. The goal here is to deliver a more ‘refined touch,’ something which is done by the incorporation of 4 new design elements.
Where features are concerned, the company states that each handset will be loaded with user-convenient attributes such as the popular QuickMemo tool and Quick Button as well as Safety Care applications. The second utility allows owners to configure an app such as the camera, browser and music player amongst others, to be launched by a simple press of the hotkey. All phones in the range are expected to come equipped with LED lighting on the home button.
The LG Optimus L7II is scheduled to make its debut in Russia this week, although there are no details pertaining to a price or release date as of now. The availability details for the L3II and L5II will be announced at a later date, states the company.
