LG has more K-Series smartphones than we had imagined

LG K-Series

The just concluded Consumer Electronics Show in the US saw LG unveiling its new K7 and K10 smartphones, but those aren’t the only ones it is planning to infuse the market with soon. A post on the company’s official Facebook page has brought to light the fact that there are three more K-Series handsets on the cards in the form of the K8, K5 and K4 models.

All these are supposed to be mid-range devices, and will hence find more footing in emerging nations. The LG K-Series has been given a tagline ‘Find Your Own Style’ to perhaps stress on the variety of options available to choose from. Of course, not all of the smartphones will be sold in all of the markets, as the distribution will vary from region to region.

Through its Facebook post, LG has highlighted that these phones will grab a glossy pebble design which will be accompanied by intricate woven back patterns in order to provide more grip. The South Korean giant has also emphasized that these devices will offer a ‘hassle-free selfie experience’ thanks to features like ‘gesture interval shot’ and ‘tap and shot.’

As for the specifications, we’re unaware about what the K8, K5 and K4 will bring to the table. But we do know the specs of the K7 and K10 smartphones.

The K7 goes for a 5-inch FWVGA display, a quad core processor, an 8MP/5MP rear snapper and a 5MP selfie unit, while the K10 adopts a 5.3-inch HD display, a 13MP/8MP rear camera, an 8MP/5MP front snapper and a quad core/octa core processor. The differing specs are due to the fact that LG will be releasing different K-Series models in different markets depending on the conditions there.
