The LG G6 has finally landed in India, a couple of months after its initial MWC debut back in February this year. The handset is set to be sold via offline outlets and Amazon starting from April 25.
The LG G6 will burn a Rs 51990-sized hole in a buyer’s wallet. The damage isn’t quite as bad as the phone’s closest rival, the Rs 57900-priced Samsung Galaxy S8. Both offer minimal bezel screens dubbed FullVision Display and Infinity Display, respectively, but differ in a number of aspects.
For instance, the G6 features the older Snapdragon 821 SoC and carries a dual 13MP camera setup on its back. One features a 125-degree wide-angle lens with a f/2.4 aperture and the other a 71-degree lens with a f/1.8 aperture. Photographers will get 4 square camera modes to choose from, letting users do things like click an image and preview it without exiting the camera.

There are a number of launch offers running on the LG flagship. Amazon India is offering Rs 10000 as cashback for SBI and HDFC credit card holders only on April 25. Reliance Jio subscribers will get an extra 10GB on every recharge of Rs 309, adding up to 100GB free data until March 2018.
People who snap up the G6 will also get a 50% discount on the Tone Active+ HBS-A100 wireless headset. Individuals who opt to book the smartphone via the site or offline retailers before May 1 will get Rs 7000 as cashback as long as they have a SBI or HDFC card. The figure drops down to Rs 5000 after that until May 31.
