The LG G6 has gone up for pre-registrations in India, signaling the imminent arrival of the smartphone in country. People looking to get their hands on the flagship phone can sign up to register their interest on the brand’s site.
Unfortunately, LG hasn’t disclosed a release date or cost details for the G6 yet. The handset is priced at KRW 899800 in South Korea. This translates to approximately Rs 50860, but there’s no way to know whether the brand plans to stick to the same range in India. Its predecessor notably went for Rs 52990 at launch.
To recall, the LG G6 first hit the scene at the MWC back in February this year. The phone made quite a splash thanks to its 5.7-inch FullVision QHD+ display which featured a unique 18:9 aspect ratio. The Galaxy S8 later came out to steal the phone’s thunder with its own 18.5:9 Infinity Display.
The Samsung flagship will likely be the G6’s biggest rival when both eventually hit the Indian market space. The latter has quite a few things going for it, such as its support for Dolby Vision and dual 13MP rear cameras.
