LG has finally announced just when the G5 is coming out in the US, setting it up for an early April release. The brand is still keeping mum on the exact date for some reason.
The LG G5 will likely hit US stores on April 8, the same day set for its arrival in the UK and Canada. The company hasn’t announced the phone’s US price either. As per Amazon UK, the handset can be bought in exchange of £529 (about $750). An earlier listing by another retailer had pegged its cost at £539 including VAT.
According to a press release, the G5 will be available in the US via major outlets and carriers including U.S. Cellular, Sprint, Best Buy, Best Buy Mobile Stores, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and B&H. The manufacturer has also announced that it’s giving away a free second battery and battery-charging cradle to buyers of the handset.

The release of the LG G5 will also see the launch of the brand’s cohort of Friends. Again, there’s no word on which accessories will be sold.
