LG G3’s Quick Circle case gets a dedicated game in Puppy Pop, to be released today

LG has made a great display of support for the G3’s unique Quick Circle case by announcing the launch of a dedicated game for it. Slated to be released through the Google Play store later today, this title named Puppy Pop will be available to download free of cost of course.

For those unaware, the Quick Circle case for LG’s latest flagship has a small circular cutout on its front. From here, you can perform a variety of tasks such as answering calls, clicking pictures, controlling music, viewing time and a lot more without fully waking up the handset.

And now, owners of the device can take advantage of the case to play Puppy Pop, a game created by LG with aim of compelling developers to start making the most of the Quick Circle SDK which is available now. It’s a match-three puzzle game that doesn’t require you to open the case at all, in order to play it.

From the circular opening, you are required to draw lines through three or more identical puppies in order to remove as many as you can before the clock runs out. Your earned points can then even be shared on social media channels.

LG first released the G3 back in May this year, and following the start of its global rollout in June, the device made it to India earlier this week. It can be bought in the country at Rs 47990 (16GB) and Rs 50990 (32GB). A Quick Circle case comes bundled along with each device.
