The LG G3 S is more or less confirmed as the G3 mini smartphone and a lot of information about the device has been leaked online through a user manual. The document is for the model number D722v which is destined for Vodafone in Germany and other variants have been spotted as well.
MyLGPhones is reporting that the LG G3 S will be headed to AT&T and Sprint in the US as well as South America, CIS, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore amongst other countries. It will also be available in China and surprisingly so, as the G3 Beat which has been officially lunched already. So basically, the two phones are indeed one and the same.
The specs listed in the manual confirm this. It’s quite a relief that the G3 mini won’t come with a smaller 4.5-inch display as previous rumors predicted. Instead, the device will have a 5-inch panel and with 720p HD visuals which are a decent step up from its predecessor. Apart from this, the processor has been improved to a 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 400.
Memory has been doubled in the new phone as it comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash storage. To top things off, there’s an 8MP OIS camera, a 2MP front snapper, a 2540mAh battery and 4G LTE support. Android 4.4 KitKat comes preloaded along with the same enhancements found on the G3 flagship. Unlike the previously leaked model which has dual SIM slots, this one will only feature a single SIM housing.
Here’s a roundup of the LG G3 S specs:
– 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 SOC
– 5-inch 720P HD IPS LCD
– 2GB RAM, 16GB storage
– Android 4.4 KitKat

While the user manual for the LG G3 S has provided a great deal of information on the phone, there’s still no word on a release date or price.
