If you’re looking forward to picking up the LG G2 mini in the UK, we’ve got news that the device will hit stores by the end of the month. Clove has revealed its plans of carrying the smartphone and you’ll be able to purchase it unlocked and SIM-free for £249.99 including VAT.
Pre-orders have already started for the device and you can also reserve a unit on Expansys, albeit no price or release date has been provided. What’s more, you can expect to see the LG G2 mini arrive through multiple carriers. The version headed to the UK will be powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor and it will support 4G LTE connectivity. The G2 mini is a slightly smaller version of the company’s flagship.
While it flaunts the same attractive design, the inferior specs and relatively high price tag make it a less alluring pick. The device has a 4.7-inch IPS display, but with just qHD resolution. On the inside, there’s a 1.2GHz quad core processor doing the heavy lifting with 1GB of RAM, while storage is in the hands on 8GB flash memory and a microSD card slot.
Clove will offer the smartphone in black only, while the white model is available for pre-order on Expansys as well. If the £250 price tag is a bit too much for a mid-range phone, you could put in £40 more and get the high-end OnePlus One when it makes its debut next week.
