LG G Flex curved phone’s hands-on images and video hit the web

We already know how the LG G Flex looks as its press renders had showed up on the internet less than two weeks ago, but the new hands-on images give us a better look at the device and its unusual curve. As you may have noticed, it is very different from Samsung’s curvy contender that goes by the name of Galaxy Round.

It is the guys over at the Argentinian broadcaster Telefe who got hold of the curvaceous gadget and uploaded its hands-on video on their website, while the images that we have posted below have been handed over to The Verge by Federico Ini. Like LG G2, its physical buttons have been placed on the rear panel.

Earlier rumors have revealed that the device has been blessed with an unbreakable display, because it is made of plastic instead of glass. The journalist who forwarded the images to the aforementioned website has confirmed one of the speculations that the device will offer a multi-touch area of 6 inches.

For those who are wondering what it packs within the confines of the stylish exterior, here’s what we have heard. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor ticking at a speed of 2.3GHz is integrated along with an Adreno 330 GPU and the phone binges on the Android Jelly Bean OS. Apparently, it employs the LG Chem curved battery too.

The LG G Flex smartphone with a curved display will be released in South Korea in November, but nothing has been mentioned about its availability in other regions like Europe and the US.
