LG has announced to expand its monitor portfolio with their new introductions M3800S-BN and M2900S-BN, in the UK. The new monitors are especially designed to host large format digital data for public locations.
The M3800S-BN features a 38-inch screen while the M2900S-BN boasts a 29-inch screen. These monitors are ideal for exhibiting information in large commercial areas, such as shopping centres and cinemas, and in high footfall locations like airports and train stations.
Moreover, the latest M3800S-BN and M2900S-BN are capable of displaying data either horizontally or vertically. Users can easily control power, contrast, brightness and volume from a single computer, by simply connecting cables between each monitor.
Fiona Landsberg, marketing manager, LG Electronics, said, “This is the first time LG has launched stretched screen monitors in the UK. They’re great for use in all locations that require large format digital signage, whether it’s on a 38″ or 29″ screen. We’re excited about expanding our range with these two new products that offer monitor solutions not just for the home or office, but also for the commercial sector.”
The M3800S-BN and the M2900S-BN feature 1366 x 398 and 1366 x 480 resolution respectively. Further they sport a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 9 ms (grey-to-grey) response time, digital and analogue video input and PC input via 15-pin D-Sub.
The prices of the M3800S-BN and M2900S-BN monitors have not been announced as of now.
