Like Xiaomi, Lenovo has also adopted the flash sale approach for its A6000 smartphone on Flipkart, making it a hard handset to come by. Well, the company is going to make it easier for you to purchase the super affordable LTE device as it will be holding an open sale via the online store from March 23 to the 25th.
So instead of registering to purchase the handset each week until one lucky Wednesday comes by, you can be sure to get hold of the Lenovo A6000 during the sale. As you probably know, the period of the open sale is the same as Flipkart’s Big App Shopping days promotion which will obviously attract loads of customers as there will be huge discounts and offers in store across the website.
Lenovo, however, will continue to offer its super cheap smartphone at the usual price of Rs 6999, but will of course, have a large inventory. The handset is basically competition to the Redmi 1S and the upcoming Redmi 2. It’s also a pretty good alternative to the large 5.5-inch Yu Yureka and Redmi Note 4G phablets.
The A6000 smartphone not only offers 4G LTE, but also dual SIM card slots and a 64-bit processor which is the 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 410. Sadly, it comes with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and there’s no word of an update to Lollipop as yet.
Lenovo A6000 specs:
– Android 4.4 KitKat
– 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 SOC
– 5-inch 720p HD IPS LCD
– 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 32GB expandable
– Dual Dolby stereo speakers
– Dual SIM w/ 4G
– 2MP front camera, 8MP rear shooter
– 2300mAh battery
